About Me
Hi, I’m Hunter Treleaven — builder, researcher, and lifelong learner.
I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas, with an expected graduation in May 2027.
My journey began in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, where my curiosity for technology and problem-solving first took shape. In 2023, I moved to Dallas, Texas, to turn that curiosity into a career centered around engineering, innovation, and design.
What I Do
I explore how technology and creativity can come together to build practical solutions for real-world problems.
From coding and prototyping to system design and user experience, I focus on making technology accessible, efficient, and impactful.
My current projects include:
-
CardioTrack: an undergraduate research project using microcontrollers and biomedical sensors to study real-time cardiac data tracking.
-
Treleon: a platform for sharing my projects and inspiring others to build, learn, and innovate.
Technical Experience
I’ve worked with a range of tools and technologies, from software development to hardware integration.
Languages: Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, HTML
Hardware: ESP32, Arduino, microcontrollers, biomedical sensors
Focus Areas: Embedded systems, open-source innovation, data-driven problem-solving
Beyond the Code
Outside of engineering, I’ve also built leadership and teamwork experience through eSports and community projects.
As a former collegiate eSports player and manager, I led a team of 15 players to multiple national-level competitions — building strong communication, analysis, and coaching skills along the way.
Achievements:
🏆 NJCAAe Warzone Collegiate National Champion (2024)
🥈 NJCAAe 4v4 Collegiate Runner-Up (2024)
🥈 NJCAAe Warzone Collegiate Runner-Up (2025)
My Vision
I believe innovation doesn’t have to be complex or expensive — it just has to be intentional.
My goal is to continue exploring how open-source hardware, software, and human creativity can drive meaningful change in healthcare, education, and beyond.
Whether it’s writing code, building prototypes, or connecting with others who share a passion for progress — I’m always learning, always building.
